Summer is here and that means it’s time to find some fun stuff to do! Whether it’s with friends, your significant other, you kids, or maybe just your and your dog, I wanted to point out a few things to check out this summer.
There is the 2nd Annual Barrels & Bottles event this July 28 at 4pm to benefit the El Nido Family Centers. Location is to be announced, but it will be somewhere in the Greater Wilshire / Hancock Park area.
There will be beer and wine, snacks, music, and an auction. And your ticket price will support the work of El Nido Family Centers which is a social service non-profit agency that provides counseling and family support services to disadvantaged communities throughout Los Angeles County.
Friday Night Music Series at the Original Farmer’s Market located at 3rd & Fairfax runs every Friday from 7pm to 9pm until the last Friday in August (Aug. 30th). Free evening concerts featuring Latin jazz, world beat soul, swing, Brazilian and more.
The Larchmont Village Neighborhood Block Party on August 17 from 1p to 5pm on Bronson Avenue between Rosewood and Clinton. Music, food, and fun for the whole family.
These are just a couple things in our neighborhood, but you could also check out:
