Halloween is coming up fast. 🎃 Whether you’re a kid or an adult, it’s time to dress up. Monsters, superheroes, or your favorite TV or movie character. Or just something weird you made up. But, where do you go?
Your first stop is Hollywood Toys & Costumes which is open 365 days a year and has been located on Hollywood Boulevard since 1950 with its huge selection of costumes you won’t find anywhere else plus wigs, hats, props, specialty makeup, and more!
Ozzie Dots in Los Feliz Village has been in Los Angeles since 1985. “However, the store originated in Silverlake in the early 70’s as Aaardvarks Odd Ark, which was located near Soap Plant/Wacko’s first store on Sunset. The store was taken over by its manager who had a passion for costume and mixed it with vintage clothing and it became Ozzie Dots.”
You can visit Party City with locations in Culver City, Atwater Village, and West L.A. They have great deals on all sorts of costumes for kids and adults as well as accessories, decorations, party supplies, candy, and more. You can even buy online and pick it up in the store for a faster trip.
These are just a few of the places you can go to get your favorite costume for Halloween. For more, check out “The 14 best Halloween costume stores in Los Angeles” from Time Out.
