It’s that time of the year again… Easter Bunny Tryouts!!!
Just kidding… But it IS Easter!!
It’s time for chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, Peeps, and all your favorite childhood candy. And if you were lucky as a kid, you got to hunt for Easter Eggs filled with your favorite treats. And now, if you have kids, you can pass on that fun to your own children.
There are a few Easter Egg Hunts close to the Hancock Park community…
Big Bunny’s Spring Fling at the Los Angeles Zoo in Griffith Park where activities will include an “egg-ucation station” featuring fuzzy bunnies for petting, animal feedings, bunny ear crafts, roaming puppeteers, the “Amazing Monarchs” aerialist show, and photos with the Easter Bunny himself (for a nominal fee).
All ages are welcome and the event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 20th & 21st from 10am to 4pm. Cost is free with paid admission to the park ($16-$21).
The Redeemer Presbyterian Church is also hosting an Easter Egg hunt at Hancock Park Elementary School on Sunday, April 21. Kids 10 and younger along with their parents (or guardians) are welcome to enjoy music, food, and games along with beginning at 12:30pm.
Don’t have kids, but maybe have a dog (or dogs)? Well, Healthy Spot is hosting two Easter Egg Hunts for doggos! They have a few, but the closest two are at their Beverly Grove and Downtown LA locations.
If you know of any other events that should be included here, please let us know so we can add them to this post. HAPPY EASTER!
