Fremont Place is home to gorgeous period revival houses built in the 1920s and 30s. The area was promoted as a “park-like refuge of sedate mansions.” The homes are set back from the street with fountains, lush lawns, and palm trees.
The Fremont Place Association protects the neighborhood’s architectural heritage with preservation guidelines. And all new construction visible from the street must conform to the guidelines.
Wilshire Avenue sits on the top of the neighborhood with Olympic Boulevard at the bottom. And it lies between Muirfield Road and Lucerne Boulevard. Commuters can easily get to the Westside, Hollywood, or downtown via car or Metro.
Residents can walk to one of the two large parks to read a book, walk their dog, or play with the kids. And locals can walk to the shops, bars, and restaurants along Wilshire Boulevard.
Fremont Place is home to movie stars, civic leaders, entrepreneurs and regular folks.
